Armandt is an environmental and water specialist with 10+ years’ experience across contaminated land, mining, oil & gas, and consulting environments. His work focuses on translating complex environmental risk into defensible, regulator-ready outcomes, particularly in high-stakes and highly regulated contexts.

envAIros was founded to apply that same discipline to decision-support systems: building structured, auditable frameworks that improve consistency and transparency in environmental screening and reporting—while keeping deterministic logic and governance at the core.

Career background: ERM (Managing Consultant / Senior PM); Sasol (Specialist SHE: Water / Geohydrologist); contaminated land consulting (Mills & Otten; USK); mining environmental coordination/EMS (AngloGold Ashanti).
Projects & initiatives: Water supply resilience strategy (30+ sites, dashboards, field programmes); 25+ ESAs + remediation strategies; large-scale monitoring & impact investigations (450+ points); infrastructure/renewables support across African jurisdictions; mentoring/capability building.
Technical focus: Contaminated land & water risk; risk-based monitoring programmes; aquifer characterisation, pump testing, conceptual modelling; groundwater–surface water interactions; defensible reporting and regulatory/audit readiness.
Education: MSc Hydrology & Geohydrology; BSc Hons Hydrology & Geohydrology; BSc (Cum Laude) Geology & Geography.
